F.A.Q.

Ahmes app for Android cited by Escribano-Rocafort et al. (2014). The performance may vary from one device to another due to the state of the sensors. Ahmes will not run in those devices that lack minimum requirements. PLEASE, IGNORE THE ADVICE WHEN RUNNING THE APP. IF YOU ARE ABLE TO TAKE MEASUREMENTS IT SIMPLY WORKS (you should calibrate the sensors)

01

Do I need internet to run Ahmes or any of its features?

No :),  just for downloading it!

02

How is my data stored?

In a very handy .csv file

03

How do I send my file?

Via USB, bluetooth or your favorite cloud service.

04

05

06

If my device meets optimum requirements, which variables will I be able to measure?

Location: Date (dd/mm/yy) Time (hh:mm:ss) Latitude (º) Longitude (º) (GPS, Network triangulation)

Angles: Pitch (º) Roll (º) Course (º) Azimut (º) (Accelerometer, magnetometer, gyroscope)

Other data: Pressure (mB) Temperature (º C, º F)*  Use carefully!

*The sensor will be more likely associated to the internal temperature of the device than to the environment itself.

The tutorial was not enough, can I send you my specific questions via the contact form?

YES!. Please, bear in mind that it may take few days for me to get back to you.
